Hiren is the founder and Principal at Mistry Law, he holds a practicing certificate in Jersey as an Advocate of the Royal Court and he also retains his Barrister’s practicing certificate. 

Hiren has more than 15 years’ experience dealing with both non-contentious and contentious areas of Trust and Commercial law.  He previously practiced as a Barrister in London and has worked in a law firm in Prague, Czech Republic.  Since moving to Jersey, he has held Senior Associate positions in a number of renowned Jersey law firms as well as Legal Counsel for the Channel Islands for an international trust company.  He was also a Visiting Lecturer at De Montfort University, where he taught on the Company Law LL.M programme.

Hiren’s litigation practice is broad and includes trust and estate disputes, shareholder and other corporate disputes, and insolvency.  Hiren regularly acts for HNWI, Trustees, Beneficiaries and Company Directors. 

Hiren also acts in an advisory capacity for corporate trustees and companies.  His experience in industry gives Hiren a competitive edge, as his advice is commercially driven. 

Hiren has an approachable style and is commercial and practical in his approach to his advice and has been involved in a number of high profile cases in Jersey over the years, including in the Court of Appeal.
